Bio

 My name is Kyia King, and I hail from Holly Springs, MS. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Mississippi University for Women and I am pursuing my Master’s Degree from Mississippi State University. I am a singer, song-writer and the founder of Music peaks, where I offer piano, voice, and intro to music lessons in Columbus, MS, at the Golden Triangle Theatre, as well as in Tupelo, MS, at the Tupelo Music Academy. In addition to teaching, I also engage in performances and provide entertainment services for various businesses, venues, and ceremonies. I have released two singles, “Mississippi Reign” and “Dream, Girl,” and I am committed to writing and releasing more music in the future that inspires and empowers others to realize their full potential. My guiding motto is “When words fail, Music Speaks,” as it emphasizes the unique ability of music to create connections among individuals, regardless of their background, identity, or language.
